Malorie Blackman in Edinburgh
S/3 fans of Malorie Blackman travelled to Edinburgh to see the author discuss 'Double Cross', the new book in her 'Noughts and Crosses' series. We stayed till the very end so we could get a group photo- that's true fanship!
Malorie Blackman signs copies of her book for the Notre Dame girls, while they keep her amused.
'Bunker 10 Bash' for World Book Day, March 2009
For World Book Day, the Book Club invited award-winning author J.A.Henderson to party with us! He told the frankly amazing story of how he fell into writing fiction. (It involves a bunny suit, a grizzly bear and a set of wooden stairs.) We held a tea-party, decorated in the theme of 'Bunker 10', enjoyed our homemade cakes and laughed quite alot. It was FUN!

Anthony Horowitz virtual event with Scottish Book Trust
Scottish Book Trust organised its first-ever virtual author event with the magnificent Anthony Horowitz. STV came along to film how it it all happened at Notre Dame. Very exciting for everyone - except S, who fell asleep...
Maggi Gibson at the Last Bash

Our end-of-year celebrations went off with a balloon-popping bang and we invited Maggi Gibson, the lovely author of 'Seriously Sassy, to join in the fun. A great finish to a great year of book reading madness.
