I would just like to say thank you to Nd, I had the best years there and it has shaped me as a person. I would just like to say, Ms Stevens, Ms O'neill and Mr Meldrum especially are fantastic teachers who deserve recognition for their teaching abilities :)

Brings back happy memories looking at Notre Dame High School's website. I was a pupil at the high school from 1993 until 1998. Never forgotton my time there since I have moved away from Glasgow living in Greenock now for the last 7.5 years. I wish I could send my little boy there (3 months old) when he starts high school long time to come it is just a shame not made into a mixed school with boys and girls. Suppose that what's make the school so special the fact it is only one of the last high school's in Scotland only attends girls not boys.

I was a pupil from 1970 - 76 - just had the virtual tour! How it's changed! It was a great school in my day - bet there are none of my teachers left! - and it appears to be great now!

I live in Italy now, but every time I am home in Glasgow and am walking down University Avenue, I look up to see that familiar, pale green cross of Notre Dame High, towering above the tenements as it bravely stands guard against the wind and rain, looking out over the city of Glasgow with its ND girls safely under its wings. I carry everything I learned at Notre Dame with me to this day, above all: Take Pride In Your Work. This motto continues to serve me well. All the best to all Notre Dame girls and teachers xxxx

It is very true that they say the best days of your life is your school days. I have many fantastic memories of Notre Dame and one of them is when I visited the school in P7 and the then headmistress Miss McMeekin told us that the minute you step into the school it belongs to you! I didn't realise it at the time but I was very proud to wear that uniform...although it took me a long time to wear brown again!!!! Be proud to be a part of a fantastic school where you will meet friends for the rest of your life.

I attended this school yr 1974-1980?,Met lovely friends, great staff, and taught me life long skills. I still keep in contact with friends from the school!Only thing I hated was the yellow gym slips!!Head Teacher was Sister Anne---who was fab!(R.I.P)

I remember every minute of my school years at this school and I loved it. I remember Mrs Bray (she use to be my guidance teacher) and I think she absolutely amazing and I miss her very much.

Many,many happy memories.Are the nuns still teaching there?I've been living in Texas for more than 40 yrs. but I still think about the years spent at Notre Dame. I remember the panama hats and the white gloves we would wear in the summer.I am so thankful for the solid spiritual formation we received.Thank you Notre Dame and the good teachers who taught us. I was a pupil at Notre Dame from 1997, loved that school & all the people I met in it. Mrs Bray was my guidance teacher, brilliant. I moved to Ireland when I left school but still stay in touch with some people through Bebo & Facebook. Many great memories there. Would love to go back for a day!! x

I attended NDHS form 1948-1952.

When I read the guestbook I felt I had to share my feelings like the lady who mentioned the panama hats and white gloves I loved it all. I was lucky to be there when the new school opened. Often think of Sister Mary Anthony and Mrs McGlone PE. They were great people. Loved my school years.
